Important information and camp regulations

 

Drammen Camping should be a place for friendship, joy, and great experiences. Our goal is to create fantastic holiday memories at a down-to-earth and genuine campsite, and these comfort rules give us some simple and clear guidelines to get there.

1. We encourage all our guests to book their stay on our website. That way, you get the best price, and you can make any changes to the reservation yourself. Terms for changes and cancellation can be seen in the booking.

 

2. Payment for the stay is made at check-in if it has not been prepaid. If you wish to extend your stay, this can be done against prepayment online or at the reception. Note that you will not get a refund if you leave the site earlier than planned after checking in.

 

3. The time for check-out on departure day is 11:00 for cabins and 12:00 for motorhomes/caravans/tents.

 

4. The time for check-in is 15:00 for cabins and 12:00 for motorhomes/caravans/tents. Check-in closes at 21:00.

 

5. The distance between units (motorhome/caravan with awning) should be 4 meters. If this is not complied with, we may require guests to move the unit so that safety is in place.

 

6. Ensure that your own fire extinguishing equipment is available and tested. Also, take a round at the site to see where extinguishing equipment is placed.

 

7. Only camping equipment of normal type and size may be used at the campsite. It is not allowed to set up your own devices in addition to tents and caravans.

 

8. Dogs must be kept on a leash and aired outside the camping area.

 

9. All guests and staff shall show consideration for each other and the campsite's neighbors. Driving is only allowed between the entrance and your own assigned place. On the assigned place, the guest should ensure good order.

 

10. Trash should only be thrown in suitable and placed containers. Source sorting must be carried out in accordance with instructions on the container.

 

11. Car washing, personal washing, laundry, dishwashing, and rinsing should only take place in the designated area and never by the drinking water sources.

 

12. The campsite cannot take responsibility for the guests' belongings. Theft and damage inflicted on the campsite's property must be covered by the perpetrator or possibly the guest's own insurance.

 

13. Camping life should bring joy to both young and old. Guests who are clearly intoxicated and/or disturb the peace and order will be asked to withdraw or possibly leave the campsite.

 

14. Speakers, TVs, musical instruments, and similar must be used with consideration and regard for other guests. That means low volume during the day and quiet hours between 23:00 and 07:00.

 

15. There should be quiet hours between 23:00 and 07:00. This is important to ensure a good night's sleep for the guests of the campsite and neighbors around the site.

 

16. Take care of yourself, those around you, the fantastic river, and the nature around you :-)
